Project FutureSafe Aotearoa
Project FutureSafe Aotearoa was the first project under the FutureSafe Aotearoa identity. It was a health, safety, and wellbeing initiative that endeavored to understand the existing state of the ecosystem and formulate a future vision, alongside designing a roadmap for change.
Partnering for Value
Partnering for Value was an ACC funded project that brought together key system partners within Aotearoa’s health, safety and wellbeing ecosystem. It sought to build open relationships, build collaboration and develop a collective roadmap for future collective efforts.
World Congress 2023
The World Congress project was in perfect alignment with FutureSafe Aotearoa's mission to foster collaboration and coordination, and enhance capability and knowledge across the system. It brought together attendees of the 23rd World Congress event, gathered insights and learnings and developed a report to share this knowledge throughout Aotearoa.

FutureSafe Aotearoa’s Backbone is the driving force behind meaningful change in health, safety, and wellbeing across New Zealand. Acting as the connector, catalyst, and enabler, it brings together diverse voices—workers, businesses, communities, and policymakers—into a unified movement for better outcomes.
A unified force for greater impact
Integral to Aotearoa New Zealand’s health, safety and wellbeing ecosystem are the sector groups and leadership bodies. These associations work to align, uplift and improve health, safety and wellbeing outcomes for their sectors. They work with industry to initiate and roll-out projects that reduce harm and protect their people.
